The EMS will develop and execute email campaigns that will engage customers, facilitate sales conversions and improve customer retention. The EMS will communicate the Del Mar brand through email outreach.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
-Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to drive engagement and increase revenue.
-Utilize Mailchimp, Magento and Nosto to create engaging campaigns including automation of journeys for both B2B and B2C audiences
- Recognize, suggest and implement audience segments and develop appropriate email communication
-Track and report on email campaigns including open rates, click through rates, conversion rates and sales generated
- Utilize tracking and reporting information to identify areas for improvement including benchmarking reports
-Create, edit and maintain sign up forms and opt-ins
-Collaborate with other marketing team departments (Content, SEM, SEO, Graphics) to optimize email content
-Conduct A/B testing strategies to improve email performance
-Maintain and manage an on-going calendar for planning of email campaigns
-Create “on the spot” email when necessary
-Generate XX amount of emails—B2C per month
-Generate XX amount of email—B2B per month
-Create various categories of emails i.e Daily deal, Newsletter, promotion, secret sales, engagement, brand highlights and others as directed
Skills Required
-Strong communication skills; both written and verbal. Have the ability to write clear, concise and engaging copy
